Blazers: Day to Night

A lot of people like the look of blazers but just don't know what to wear with them. I have to admit I was one of those people at first but after some searching for ideas I managed to pull off the blazer look. To help others I have made day and night outfits with some of my blazers and hopefully they will help you get ideas for the look you want.

This outfit is super simple but still looks nice. This look would be perfect for an early-spring day. The black leather blazer (consignment shop 10$) over the cowl-neck (Rue21 5$ on sale), quarter sleeve white shirt gives the outfit a carefree feel and is completed by the black tusk necklace (Deb 3$ on sale) and coral polka-dotted scarf.

Using the same blazer from the picture above, I have created a fancier look for a night on the town! Under the blazer is a black tank top with gold detail (JCPenney 8$) that makes the outfit look more put together when paired with the gold pendant necklace.

This look involves another black blazer (D.I. 5$). This blazer, although hard to tell in the picture has gray pinstripes that goes great with the white tank top with silver details (same shirt from above, but different colors!). To complete this night outfit I threw on a shorter necklace with lots of sparkle and bling (Claire's 1$ on sale).

This same blazer (from picture above) creates a more casual daytime look when put together with this striped butterfly tee (Rue21 10$). The pink necklace (Claire's 1$ on sale) was inspired by the pink stripe in the shirt, and pulls the color out and makes it more noticeable!

This navy blue blazer is one of my absolute favorites! It can be worn with just about anything! For this nighttime look I paired it with a patterned tank with different hues of blue and a splash of purple. To complete the out fit I placed a silver and bronze necklace around the neck.

This outfit, created with the navy blue blazer mentioned above, creates a more dressy feel for a night out. The tank top worn with the blazer makes the outfit dressier because of the material and the pattern. To finish the look I wrapped a purple scarf (the same purple found in the shirt) around the neck and called it good!

This business-like blazer (Consignment shop 10$) can definitely be worn outside the office! Especially when worn with this striped, flowey top (Old Navy 6$) this look would  be great for a day outfit. The detail of the shirt makes it interesting enough that you wouldn't have to wear a scarf, necklace, etc.

This gray blazer would also work great for a fancier night outfit when placed with this  light green, silk blouse (Christensen's 10$ on sale). This blazer would work with pretty much any color because it is a neutral color!

    I hope this helped!
