Independence Day 2013

I put together 6 outfits that I think are absolutely perfect for the 4th of July! Independence Day is a holiday to celebrate our country so why not celebrate in style? I want to thank my little sister and her friend for being my gorgeous models today! In this first look I had Alli throw on some jean shorts from Aeropostale, a lacy blouse, the Bongo vest (featured in my Thrift shop post), and to pull it all together; a red scarf! This outfit is perfect for watching a parade or celebrating with friends!

This next outfit ,modeled on McKenna, is also casual in the way it looks and comes together. She is wearing a white top from Ross, robin-egg blue shorts from Jcpenney, a red Boho headband! Definitely barbecue worthy!

These next two outfits are more dressy and could be worn to a party or to watch fireworks! McKenna is seen here wearing a navy blue, polka dot, hi-low skirt (Ross), with a white shirt. To complete the outfit she threw on a red scarf that she made from an old t-shirt. And since watches are so in right now she added to the outfit when she put on a white watch (Rue21).

McKenna also made this maxi skirt that Alli is wearing. Its white and red striped, perfect for the 4th! She paired with a dark wash chambray and white accessories.

These next outfits were the girls' favorite ones. Alli is wearing a shirt from Aeropostale that i refashioned about a week ago. She wore it with some jean shorts and a pretty red scarf. This would be a perfect outfit for barbecuing with the family.

McKenna's outfit is a little dressier than Alli's was but its still great for 4th of July fun! She is wearing a navy blue button up (featured in my Maxi Skirt post), red jeans from Jcpenney, and striped ballet flats.

 Have an awesome Independence day!!
