Watches: Fashion and Function

Watches are the best accessory and are very in style this year. The can be fancy or casual, any shape, any color, anyway you want them! They are very fashionable and functional! This is my collection of watches. You might be able to tell I'm obsessed with them! You can seriously wear them with any outfit, depending on the style of the watch. My white watch is from Aeropostale, the skinny, brown, round watch on the top left is from JcPenney. The mint one is from Rue 21.

Last Summer's Tank Tops

I loved pulling out all my clothes from last summer and going through them to see what I could keep for this summer. I was surprised by all the tank tops I had that could pass as being brand new this year. I always reuse items from last season/year because I don't have the money to go out and get new things every season. By putting new and updated clothing and accessories with them they feel and look like brand new. I put some of my tank tops from last summer into outfits that I could definitely wear this summer! This is one of the major ways I save money when it comes to my closet!

This first tank top is a navy blue cotton material with some bling bling on the neckline. I love shirts with built in details because you don't have to worry about putting a necklace or scarf with it! Since this shirt is one solid color it can be paired with virtually any type of pattern you'd like. I put it with a white unbuttoned button-up. Button ups have been very popular lately, but I threw a spin on them but not wearing the buttons buttoned up. Its little things like that, that make your style YOURS! (Both the tops are from JcPenney).

This top was bought at a consignment shop last spring. Its a paint stroke type of pattern with white, mustard yellow, and navy blue. You might think "hmmm these aren't summer colors", but they can be depending on what you wear with it. I placed a creamy white, light-weight cardigan with it to make it more bright for summer. I threw on a gold leaf necklace to make it a little dressier.

This next top is one of my absolute favorites! Its a pink undertone magenta color and it is loose with a elastic band around the hips. It has great detail at the neckline so I don't usually wear a scarf or necklace with it. With this shirt I wanted to a more casual summer look so I put it with a light wash chambray that I got at JcPenney. To add a little something I draped a t-shirt material scarf around the neck.

This jersey knit tank (Ross) is actually two years old but I still wear it! Its a very versatile piece because it is simple enough to dress down for a more casual look, yet the flower details give it the ability to be dressed up a little bit. For summer I paired it with a sky blue, light weight sweater and "hippie" looking necklace (Deb $2) for a pretty casual look!

This tank top is another one of my all time favorites! The material is super light weight, and the detailing around the neckline is very detailed. I love this top because you don't have to add accessories to it, but it still allows you to add a simple necklace to dress it up a bit. This cardigan that I paired with it adds a little fun to the look with the thick stripes. Cardigans are such a great investment because you can wear it with anything!
